Alewya is an Ethio-Egyptian artist, singer, producer and visual artist whose work transcends continents and disciplines. Born in Saudi Arabia and raised in London, she embodies a new generation of artists reinventing global music, rooted in heritage yet freed from its limitations. She describes herself as a painter who makes music, approaching sound as texture and emotion, guided by intuition rather than structure.

Her journey, shaped by Quranic melodies, Ethiopian rhythms and her brother's alternative influences, nurtures an eclectic palette. Her first project, Panther in Mode (2021), revealed a bold voice in the British music landscape, blending afro-electronic percussions and a striking visual identity.

With ZERO, her new album, Alewya explores zero as a symbol of infinity: a work shaped by humility, deconstruction and instinct. Produced in part by herself, this album reflects a journey of acceptance, vulnerability and creative freedom, far from external expectations.

Her art, whether music or painting, is a sacred expression, guided by faith and instinct. Alewya does not seek to be understood, but to understand herself through her creation.
