*19h30 & 21h30* For this exceptional evening, saxophonist Alex Terrier surrounds himself with friends and musicians among the most talented of their generation: American trumpeter Josiah Woodson, French pianist Noé Huchard recently awarded at the Victoires du Jazz, Swedish double bassist Viktor Nyberg and Nigerian drummer Isaac Odiana. An encounter between five passionate artists united by a love of swing, creativity and live jazz. After seventeen years spent in New York, where he established himself on the jazz scene alongside numerous American musicians (Jeff Tain Watts, Kenny Barron, Joe Lovano), saxophonist Alex Terrier returns with a quintet that reflects all the richness of this journey. Nominated for the Grammy Awards with the *Mingus Big Band*, he draws from this experience an approach where artistic rigor blends with the freedom of improvisation.
