CHASSOL

Presented by Junzi Arts (PLATESV-R-2022-009351/009353) & Ludi Magister. Funny How?, the fifth album by Christophe Chassol, continues his “Ultrascores” series while marking a turn toward a more contemporary sound and a more political statement. Inspired by American stand-up, the album blends soul, jazz, rap and musical comedy, bringing together the voices of figures like Dave Chappelle or Dulcé Sloan with those of emerging comedians. Drawing from archives and footage shot in New York and Chicago, Chassol harmonizes reality to reveal its hidden notes and compose a choral, musical, and committed narrative. The release of Funny How? is scheduled for 22 May 2026. In Paris at Les Folies Bergère on 30 November 2026.
