‘Checkpoint Charlie’ / Obradovic-Tixier Duo

The Obradovic-Tixier Duo, winner of many international awards, has been a sensation for 10 years!

“The music [declares the Croatian drummer Lada Obradovic] is a painting of life, a vision of the world, a cry that transcends the sounds of the universe.”

Even this preface cannot fully prepare us for the exhilarating journey that this program offers us, where the rhythmic changes of Obradovic are linked with speed, precision and surprise – slowing down only to let the mesmerizing notes of the French pianist David Tixier flood the scene with bright and melancholic colors.
