Concert-célébration d'Esbjörn Svensson Trio : e.s.t

Official ticketing. More than three decades after its creation, the Swedish trio e.s.t. (Esbjörn Svensson Trio) continues to mark the European jazz scene. Formed around its founder and pianist who died accidentally in 2008, e.s.t. revolutionized the approach to the piano-double bass-drums format, emblematic of the jazz genre: indeed, its three musicians integrated into it, with extraordinary sensitivity and brilliance, elements of pop, rock, and minimalist music, thereby reinventing the rhythmic, melodic, and interactive approach to the art of the trio. La Seine Musicale has decided to pay a living tribute to this beacon of modern jazz by inviting Dan Berglund and Magnus Öström, respectively bassist and drummer of e.s.t., joined for the occasion by musicians of remarkable talent who have crossed paths with the trio in various capacities: Magnus Lindgren (saxophone), Ulf Wakenius (guitar), Joel Lyssarides (piano), and Verneri Pohjola (trumpet). A unique evening to relive through its repertoire and originality the intense emotions of e.s.t., now a legendary trio.
