Concert · Sonic Tapestry

Sonic Tapestry is a concert conceived in dialogue with the Common Threads exhibition by musicians Natalie Darst Xia and Jas Ogiste. Much like textiles, music can be both delicate and rich in texture, bringing tradition and contemporary creation into dialogue, and recounting the passage of time. The artists and fellows of the 5th floor will perform works by composers from varied worlds, resonating through music notions of sustainability, cultural diplomacy and transmission, as well as their capacity to build bridges between cultures.
