DÉÉFAIT Release Party

Somewhere between krautrock, noise rock, decomposing psychedelia, and pagan proto-punk, Dééfait makes music like one performs invocations: in trance, on loop, and without a safety net. From the chaotic arteries of Mexico Distrito Federal to the basements of the Parisian suburbs, Dééfait crafts a breathless noise rock.

Formed in 2023, the band Dééfait brings together the Valero brothers (Lucas on guitar / Pablo, ex-Pays P on drums), Enir Da (bass – Temir Alcy, Dali Muru & the Polyphonic Swarm), Grégoire Couvert (guitar), and Riki Lara, Mexican singer and performer, whose lyrics — chanted, whispered, yelled — alternate in three languages: English, Spanish, and French. Active on the Parisian underground scene since 2024 (La Mécanique Ondulatoire, Le Cirque Électrique, Nouveaux Sauvages…), Dééfait establishes a ritualistic, physical, almost hallucinatory tension.
