Double Fracture à l'Essaïon

This is the story of little Jean-Bastien who lives in Haute-Saône.

A farmer's son, he struggles to find his place in this rural world.

So, with his mum, he tells himself stories and seeks refuge in films and musicals. But the summer he turned fourteen, his mother disappears.

This is the story of Jean-Bastien finding himself alone.

Alone to face his father and an environment that does not understand him.

Alone to embrace his difference and homosexuality.

Alone to reject a life he does not want.

Alone finally to achieve his dream at Théâtre Essaïon.
