From early childhood, labels are stuck onto us. “You are like this or like that”. By hearing them over and over, we convince ourselves that they fit us and follow a path that is not always our own.

On the eve of turning 40, Élodie decides to question everything. With humor and emotion, she retraces her journey: that of a little girl who dreamed of theater, a young woman who became a schoolteacher to meet others’ expectations, and then a woman who decides to throw it all away to find herself.

Through a gallery of characters as funny as they are touching, this one-woman show invites us to look at others and ourselves differently.
