Fazil Say – Piano

As much a performer as a composer, he is a complete artist with infinite imagination. The program he presents is in his image. The Goldberg Variations are among those unidentified objects of human creation that are impossible to classify or even explain. Without playing repeats, Fazil Say recounts them in his own way, taking each of the variations on a journey through the imaginary world of his mind. Once reaching the end of Bach’s monument, he leads us toward other slopes, other valleys of his thought.
