Au théâtre ce soir!
The Mask and Music workshop of Conservatoire Hector Berlioz invites you to a tragic and fantastic farce where two families seeking to flee bad news to preserve a joyful event reveal themselves in their fiercest selfishness.
Through a succession of increasingly burlesque situations, Hanokh Levin paints a cruel portrait of a society ready to step over corpses to achieve an ultimately trivial goal.

The story:
Funérailles d'hiver is the story of a great fantastic and burlesque escape triggered by the unfortunate coincidence of two major events. On one side, cousin Shratzia is marrying her only daughter Vélvétsia to Popotshenko. On the other side, cousin Latshek Bobitshek mourns the death of his mother who, before departing, made him promise a fine funeral attended by the entire family. So off he goes at night in the pouring rain to break the terrible news to Shratzia.
The family then decides to take to their heels to avoid hearing the inconvenient news. And the flight begins, a total and absolute escape, dragging Latshek on an absurd journey through places as diverse as they are crazy.
