Gonzalo Rubalcaba concert piano solo

For this inaugural edition, the lineup brings together three legends of contemporary jazz: Brad Mehldau, Fred Hersch, and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. Each of them embodies a singular vision of the solo piano, between tradition and modernity, virtuosity and emotional depth. Their presence gives this festival a rare artistic dimension, promising moments of exceptional intensity.

Beyond the concerts, the festival asserts a genuine dedication to transmission. Each artist will offer a masterclass prior to their performance, giving the public a special opportunity to explore their musical universe and artistic approach. These exchange sessions will allow amateurs, students, and young musicians to benefit from direct contact with these jazz greats.

This dialogue between stage and education constitutes one of the foundations of this first edition, reinforcing the spirit of sharing that drives the festival. Thus, the Festival Piano Solo Jazz is not limited to a series of exceptional concerts: it is part of a living process of sharing musical knowledge and passion.

A unique gathering that is already establishing itself as a highlight of the cultural season.
