HISTOROCK

Presented by HISTOROCK (PLATESV-D-2023-006888). "What if the History of France became a great rock show?", Historock makes the History of France sing at Les Folies Bergère! A show for the whole family, from 8 to 88 years old! An exceptional educational rock opera designed to pass down the History of France to all our youth in a playful and entertaining way. Since its creation in 2022 by historian and teacher Dimitri Casali, HISTOROCK has brought the History of France alive on stage. Already performed in 46 cities before more than 25,000 young people, the show arrives for the first time at the legendary theater Les Folies Bergère! Designed for ages 8-14 as well as adults, it sings our History from cathedrals to General de Gaulle across 20 scenes set to rock, pop, rap, and classical music, while sharing the values of the Republic to pass on the love of France and its culture to all our children. A show that is spectacular, educational, and deeply popular, notably endorsed by historian Jean Tulard, member of the Institut de France. A true live show featuring 8 musicians and actors in period costumes setting the stage alight alongside the greatest pages of our history. History is not learned by heart, it is learned with the heart!
