Indigo

Indigo is a jazz quartet, originally a group of friends and students from CMDL (Centre Des Musique Didier Lockwood). Their music is rooted in Jazz and builds upon the art of improvisation and the exploration of the moment among 4 musicians. The Quartet ventures into original compositions inspired by Brad Mehldau and Richie Beirach, incorporating harmonic shades akin to those of Ravel / Debussy, which paved the way for new colors nearly a century ago.
