She returned to France last June to accompany Toshiki Soejima at Le Sucre in Lyon and at the New Morning in Paris. On 25 November, she returns for her first headlining concert in France, co-headlining at the Sunset Jazz Club as part of her album promotion tour, stopping in 16 cities before continuing across Asia and through 2027.Her forthcoming debut album, RE:conciliation, traces a whole life through music: from an unexpected beginning and youth rebellion to exhaustion, mourning, acceptance, and a return to where it all started. Her energetic music moves between fusion jazz inspired by Hiromi, Japanese jazz-rock, textures reminiscent of retro video games, and the distinctive warmth of Studio Ghibli films.« What If It All Works Out? » by JOYA completes a trilogy of three EPs that takes her from who she is, through what has been, to the future she envisions. Her hope-filled indie pop explores love, faith, healing, and life between East and West.For *Somewhere Between*, their universes begin to overlap.
