With this work of maturity, on a libretto revised by the young Goldoni already very skilled, Vivaldi triumphs with the mezzo-soprano Anna Giro, his most famous performer of his time, and definitively conquers the Venetian elite. Twenty years ago, Jean-Christophe Spinosi had successfully revived this title with the help of a team that would mark the "Vivaldi revival" (Sonia Prina, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, Philippe Jaroussky...). No doubt the generation of singers present tonight alongside Julien Chauvin will also know how to restore all its brilliance to this Vivaldian gem. Production Théâtre des Champs-Elysées
