Larry Fuller « Celebrating Ray Brown »

Presented by Le Sunset (L-1017720-721-722) Since touring with Ray Brown in the early 2000, American pianist Larry Fuller has earned a reputation as one of the most "swinging" pianists on the music scene. Endorsed by Yamaha and nominated for a Grammy Award, Fuller honed his craft "old school", on stage, within legendary ensembles: the Ray Brown Trio, the Jeff Hamilton Trio, the John Pizzarelli Quartet, and as musical director and pianist for Ernestine Anderson. In honor of Ray Brown's centenary, the New York-based Larry Fuller Trio will pay a special tribute by performing arrangements Fuller himself played in Brown's trio. Get ready to discover an ultra-swinging program performed by a true giant of jazz piano.
