McCoy Tyner swept through jazz like a force of nature, Coltrane's pianist, architect of the modal sound, an essential voice across half a century of music. Tyner's Legacy pays homage to this heritage by drawing from his repertoire, as well as from that of his companions Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, all tied to that pivotal era when jazz swung into something brand new.

A piano, double bass, and drums trio joined by saxophonist Sylvain Beuf: not a reenactment, but a living conversation with music that has not aged a bit.
