LAURIANE LUDOSKY – JAZZ EXPLORATIONS

Concert schedule: 21h

Lauriane collects songs like others collect travel journals.

"Some have been with me for a long time. Others appear through a listen, an encounter, a forgotten score or a recording discovered by chance. They carry within them stories, emotions, landscapes and sometimes even questions that continue to resonate long after the last note. I like songs that leave room for risk. Those that allow musicians to meet in the moment, to listen to each other, to respond to each other and to invent a path together which did not exist a few minutes ago.t”

Between revisited standards, little-known treasures and improvisations, Jazz Explorations is an invitation to listen, to discover and to surprise. Throughout this residency, the standards we think we know sometimes take unexpected directions. Forgotten songs find a voice. The arrangements evolve, the improvisations open up new perspectives and each concert becomes a unique adventure, shaped by the present moment. Because a song is never quite the same when you sing it again. And perhaps that’s where all the magic of jazz lies.

Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain niche gave birth to a series of bimonthly residencies allowing young artists to experience the stage, to explore a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising and promising niche where creativity and emulsion have no limits. #BeCurious!
