Le Mois du doc : Projection et rencontre autour de Voyage à Gaza de Piero Usberti

"In Gaza, you have to arrive in the evening in the spring, lock yourself in your room and listen to the sounds coming in through the open windows… The year is 2018. I am 25 years old and I am a foreign traveler. I meet young Palestinians my age." Piero Usberti

In 2018, French-Italian director Piero Usberti spent three months in the Gaza Strip, meeting and interviewing young men and young women of his age. The camera captures their daily lives, their hopes, their dreams, as well as the beauty of landscapes now destroyed (the editing of the film was completed shortly before October 7, 2023). The film was released in theaters in November 2024.

Following the screening, you can attend a discussion between the director and Garance Philippe, co-organizer of the Ciné Palestine festival, and ask them questions.
