Le petit garçon et le perroquet

This is the story of a little boy who is bored at school. He sets his mind on becoming friends with the birds by imitating their song. But the birds reject him : he is talking nonsense ! One day he receives a parrot who decides to imitate human speech. The little boy rejects it : it is talking nonsense ! Then he receives a flute, and discovers his own language through music.

That is how the birds of the forest and his parrot come to take an interest in him.
