Le plaisir de rompre

Blanche and Ferdinand, two spiritual lovers, adore each other, separate, find each other and go astray.

Through three works by Jules Renard: The Mistress, Le Plaisir de rompre and Household Bread, Pierre-Olivier Mornas continues her exploration of sentimental relationships.

After enchanting the public with Les petites misères de la vie conjugale de Balzac, he drags his companion Alice d'Arceaux into the meanders of love, from the game of seduction to the art of separation. A delightful lesson in loving-knowing, joyfully taught by one of the most subtle connoisseurs of the human heart!
