Summary : A dramatized historical account of the rise and fall of Urbain Grandier, a seventeenth-century Roman Catholic priest accused of witchcraft following the alleged possessions of Loudun, in France. LES DIABLES also highlights Sister Jeanne des Anges, a sexually repressed nun who, without meaning to, triggers the accusations.
