Asaël is on the verge of giving birth. Accompanied by her friend Mélisse, both find shelter in the middle of the woods, with Clarissa, a healer and seasoned matron.

Almost forgetting they are hunted by inquisitors, they will find an opening in their flight to share a moment of grace and confession, where personal stakes answer the dominating system reproaching them for being everything they are. But reality catches up with them...

Les Filles de Cendres is a theatrical play. A musical tale around the fire, in a timeless and poetic universe that has us follow the transformation of young Asaël. Together, they will face their fears and unite their strengths so that this child may come into the world and fulfill her destiny.
