My Fierce Ignorant Step

The choreographer Christos Papadopoulos returns to his youthful impulses, to his adolescent dreams stemming from the feeling that everything is possible. In a damaged world that looks more and more like a frightening dystopia, he revives this flame via a magnetic and spellbinding group choreography.

The bodies undulate in unison, organic, fluid and floating, struck by energizing syncopes. This last creation, which ignites the collective, explores the synergy between sound vibrations and physical musicality. On an original, repetitive and heady musical score by the contemporary Greek composer Kornilios Selamsis, the ten dancers rise to power and reactivate the hope of better days.
