Natacha Atlas & Samy Bishai • Cabaret Sauvage

To celebrate the release of "Parallel Universe – Volume 1" on June 5, 2026, Natacha Atlas and Samy Bishai celebrate their new collaboration with an exceptional release party on November 19, 2026 at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris!

Parallel Universe – Volume 1 is a bold reinvention of the musical meeting point between East and West. The first chapter in a series of upcoming volumes, the album opens a sonic narrative fueled by a shared fascination with alternate timelines and possible futures.

Between pulsing electronics, Arabic percussion chopped on the MPC, quarter-tone analog synths, lush Rhodes, and spectral Arabic backing vocals, Natacha Atlas and Samy Bishai craft a resolutely contemporary vision of Arabic pop: fluid, futuristic, and freed from any boundary of genre or geography.

Oscillating between dystopian cyberpunk, synth-pop, avant-garde electro, and post-Mahragan Arabic hip-hop, Parallel Universe moves in a space where genres dissolve and temporalities blur. Lyrics in English and Arabic intertwine naturally, carried by the magnetic voice of Natacha Atlas and the incandescent electric violin of Samy Bishai.

Music from a future that remembers its past, both timeless and resolutely contemporary.
