Nick Hakim

Super! presents Nick Hakim on November 13, 2026 at Cabaret Sauvage

Nick Hakim has no filter. Much like the way the musician conducts a casual conversation, he overflows with creative energy that pours effortlessly from him. Since 2013, he has shown that his talent cannot be confined within the restrictions of categorization. Hakim's critically acclaimed debut album, 'Green Twins', solidified his status as a versatile artist pushing genre boundaries and embracing fluidity across R&B, soul, indie, psychedelia, and more. From there, he joined forces with artists like Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, BADBADNOTGOOD, Mac DeMarco, Onyx Collective, and many others.

While Hakim's second album, 'WILL THIS MAKE ME GOOD', was an expression of a block released at the height of the pandemic as everyone struggled to keep their feet on the ground, COMETA sees the artist on the other side of that emotional rollercoaster, transcending into the next realm of his musical universe. Rather than isolating himself from the world and turning inward, Hakim invites the listener to embrace a newfound sense of clarity. Since transitioning to a nomadic life in 2021, the album was recorded between recording studios and home spaces in Texas, North Carolina, California, and New York. To lay the foundation of this complex soundscape, Hakim teamed up with his longtime collaborator, producer and sound engineer Andrew Sarlo.
