Pierre Marcus Quartet invites Irving Acao

For this new project, double bassist Pierre Marcus brings together an exceptional quartet around musicians who have deeply shaped his journey since arriving in Paris.

For this concert, Pierre Marcus revisits a repertoire of great jazz standards, with personal arrangements and plenty of room left for interaction between the four musicians. A tribute to the artists and encounters that enriched his musical journey in Paris, but also an invitation to discover vibrant, spontaneous, and generous music.

A quartet of character, led by four strong personalities, for an evening filled with swing, improvisation, and the pleasure of playing together.
