A native of São Luís in northeastern Brazil, Isaías is a percussionist and composer nurtured by the folk traditions of Maranhão. He grew up to the rhythm of street drums, processions, and festivities, before taking his sounds across to Europe. With him, tradition meets improvisation, jazz anchors itself in the territory, and rhythm becomes a language.

These #RDVavec... are envisioned as a living space. A place where musicians meet, experiment, and where the pulse becomes a common language. Where each evening can shift in unexpected directions.
