Screening of the film Le Maréchal - Un autre monde in this one, directed by Véronique Faure and Delphine Genest.

Lecture by Jean-Jacques Plaisance, creator and host of the galerie Les Yeux fertile, which exhibits all November paintings and engravings of Le Maréchal.

About Jacques Moreau, The Marshal (1928-2016): Poet, Cartoonist, French painter and engraver close to surrealism without being an official member, known for its inextricable drawings and transparent paintings, discovered by the philosopher Gaston Bachelard, He was endorsed by the leader of surrealism André Breton.

About the speakers of the meeting at halle Saint-Pierre:

- Jean-Jacques Plaisance, creator and host of the galerie Les Yeux fertile, which exhibits all November paintings and engravings of Le Maréchal.

- Louis Janover, born in 1937, is a French essayist, translator and editor. He enshrines his political thought in councilism.

- Fabrice Balossini, draftsman, engraver, writer, photographer.

- Georges Rubel, engraver, he is an aquafortist and burinist, trained by Jacques Moreau, says Le Maréchal, and at the workshop of Jean Delpech. Sharing the passion of the image with Yves Doaré, Etienne Lodého, Didier Mazuru, Philippe Mohlitz and Yves Milet-Desfougères, he developed a timeless artistic language in engravings worthy of those of Renaissance miniaturists.

Organization

Françoise Py is president of the association AFRES. Poet and writer, she was a lecturer in History and theories of art at the Université de Paris 8, department of plastic arts. She has written numerous articles on surrealist painters, sculptors and writers, notably in the digital magazine Mélusine. She organizes the meetings in surrealism, at the Halle Saint-Pierre, within the framework of the AFRES.
