Shobee • La Maroquinerie

Shobee is a Moroccan rapper, songwriter, and producer whose career has followed the evolution of Moroccan hip-hop since the early 2010s.

Initially known internationally through Shayfeen, he helped bring forth a new generation of Moroccan rap, beyond established codes and audiences. His work with NAAR extended this trajectory through international collaborations and European tours across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

As a solo artist, Shobee developed a more personal language, oscillating between rap, trap, electronic textures, and introspection. His debut solo album, HOWLS, released in 2023, marked a decisive turning point in this evolution.

In 2026, Shobee begins a new cycle. Machi M3ana and AI9 inaugurate a phase built around distinction and exclusivity, where Shobee, far from boasting, simply states an obvious fact: he moves in a league of his own, where the standards he sets for his music are too high to reach, copy, or replicate.

He has thus succeeded in turning his sonic world not only into something unique, but also into a legitimate contribution to the international scene.
