SLOW FICTION

Presented by AEG Presents France (L2-013910 / 3-013909). Originaire de New York, Slow Fiction is an indie rock quintet born from friendships and creative connections made at university, before forming in the turmoil of the pandemic. The band develops a sound that oscillates between the raw energy of rock of the years 90, Sonic Youth and The Jesus and Mary Chain, and a contemporary melancholy, carried by introspective texts and a strong emotional intensity.Very early, the five members choose to live together, making their shared daily life a real creative playground. This proximity feeds their music and gives birth to their first Crush EP, released in 2024, before their first self-produced album dollhouse. Through its 11 titles, the band explores the identity, the look of others and the way we build ourselves when we are constantly observed, with a rock at once nervous, melodic and cathartic. After a stint at Rock en Seine in 2025, Slow Fiction is back for a concert at La Boule Noire on 16 February 2027!
