Soak

Great! & Le Hasard Ludique present Soak live in Paris on 24 February 2027!

Soak's fourth album, Decembers, was born in literal silence. Faced with an autoimmune disease that prevented him from singing, it was the absence of sound that gave birth to the most remarkable album to date of the artist from Derry, both in sound and lyrical terms.

The space that opened from this imposed silence, and the life that took place there – in transition, at the edge, in search of links – gave birth to something. What results is an album of striking tenderness and honesty, with astonishing stories, signed by an artist discovering the revelations that await him at the end of the road.

In Decembers, we travel the roads of the United States, walk the glittering roads of Dublin at night, go in search of a meteor in Portugal, and then return home, to Derry. Everywhere, we find an artist who evolves, explores, frees himself, decomposes, to finally build himself.
