SOICHI TERADA presents SUMO x APES LIVE AV

A cult figure on Japan’s electronic music scene, Soichi Terada unveils Sumo x Apes, an exclusive live performance finally bringing together two sides of his musical world: the jungle of his legendary album Sumo Jungle (1996) and the Ape Escape soundtracks, which have become cult favourites among gamers and record collectors alike.

Breakbeats, warm basslines and melodies steeped in console nostalgia: Terada reinvents his classics in a set that is both nostalgic and firmly focused on the future. On screen, he creates his own visuals, synchronised in real time, bringing together traditional Japanese imagery and the wild aesthetics of video games.

An exclusive tour, far from his usual house sets. Where jungle meets the joystick.
