SOROSORO - Boule Noire

Presented by VERTIGO (2-022483 / 3-022484) Supported by the Chantiers des Francofolies scheme in 2026, Sorosoro continues his journey on stage today, notably with an appearance at La Boule Noire on 8 December. It is a deeply human story that Sorosoro tells on this second EP: that of solitude, hypersensitivity, maladaptation and the melancholy that gradually clouds the mind. For a long time, this shy young man was content to play music out of sight, without ever mentioning it to his family or his brother, whose guitar he secretly borrowed. "I was too afraid of seeing my relationship with music change, of it no longer being purely passionate, of it depending on the opinions of others." At 18 years old, came the spark: while walking the Camino de Santiago, a retired couple convinced him to take the plunge. After all, he was at the age when one must believe in dreams rather than spend a lifetime regretting them. The message was received loud and clear: henceforth, Sorosoro plays on the street, embarks on various journeys, opens up to others, moves to Paris and gives his very first concert at La Cigale, opening for Tawsen.
