Mahalingam, the renowned flutist who revolutionized the art of Carnatic flute, one of the brightest young stars of Indian classical music, J.A. Jayant has brought together a group of his most gifted students for this historic European tour, his “Flute Ensemble”. It is the first time an ensemble of five Carnatic flutists performs on the continent. For this unique celebration, J.A Jayant - Principal flute, Phani Teja Rachakonda - Concert flute, Vikas Krishnan Sanjeev - flute, Yakeshwaran Devaraj - flute, Harihara Pregadaraju - flute are joined on stage by percussionists Sairam Sundaram - Mridangam and Roopak Rajgopa Kallurkar - Tabla In collaboration with the Triveni association
