Spectacle : Des paillettes en résistance

Drag queens are wild weeds. Uproot them, and they grow back. Trample them, and they flourish in the cracks of the sidewalk, between two cobblestones, where no one expects them.

In the exhibition Semons nos résistances, the collective Paillettes feels right at home: surrounded by poetic barbed wire, plant-wax cobblestones, and neon lights proclaiming that we rise by lifting others.

With sharp heels and razor-sharp words, they wander among the artworks and tell you how to grow joy in a world that would rather see us behave.
