STEREO MC 'S

Stereo MC’s was formed in the middle of the years 80, inspired by electronic music and the beginnings of hip-hop. The band pressed their first 12 inch vinyl and launched an independent label called G Street Records, which has produced many British and American artists. Soon after, they signed to Island/4th and Broadway Records, released their debut album and toured extensively, forging a reputation at multiple tours and festivals. Their third album, "Connected", released in 1992, was a worldwide success and the eponymous title became a classic.

Some time later, in 2015, tired of the bubble of the big record companies and animated by their love of dance music, they decided to return to their roots and embark on a new label project: This is how the “Connected” label was born, first as a way for them to release their music, but also to produce that of other artists, covering Afro house, deep house and techno, as well as all the variations of these genres.

While continuing to tour as a live band and releasing many albums (including collaborations with Adam Port, Anja Schneider, Re. You, Yotam Avni and Terranova, among others), Rob Birch and Nick Hallam also continue to cultivate their passion for DJing, which is an essential element.
