Tamarae

FOR FANS OF FKA Twigs, SZA & H.E.R

TAMARAE constructs the architecture of emotion through sound, using voice, texture, and electronics.

A Paris-based singer, guitarist, and producer, she crafts her universe at the intersection of Indie Soul, Alternative R&B, and electronic production. Her music is both intimate and cinematic, introspective songs wrapped in modern, layered textures.

Raised in the Netherlands by a Dutch father and a Slovakian-Hungarian mother, her music moves naturally between worlds. This duality runs through all her work — songs of loneliness, desire, and finding one's place, always fueled by an electronic tension that makes her universe unique.

Trained in vocal jazz and guitar at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, she has since transcended that foundation to craft the sophisticated textures of her current work. Her EP Dreams, recorded in 2024 at legendary Wisseloord Studios, explores the vulnerability of the pandemic era, followed by European tours and opening sets for Alfa Mist. Her debut album The Ocean Knows was featured on BBC Jazz World in 2022.

Today, she is building a new chapter. Her EP arrives in 2026, an emotional journey constructed like an edifice. The lead track Resemblance is out now, a song about risk, heritage, and building a life abroad.
