TANGER BLUES

FRANCE, MOROCCO GENRE: DRAMATIC COMEDY, THRILLER DURATION: 1H42 MADE BY: ALI MESBAHI WITH: JULIE FOURNIER, YASSER EL BEKRI, KARINA TESTA. Elsa Delcourt, a lawyer in the midst of a crisis, sees her world collapse. After a violent confrontation with her companion, she decides to go alone to Tangier. Determined to escape the expectations that suffocate her, her journey becomes more than just a flight: it is a quest for freedom, an arm of honor to a world that wants to see her return to the ranks. Arriving in Tangier, the discovery of the city makes her meet Hicham, a seductive young policeman, Antar a street kid and a group of French expatriates with whom she sympathizes. This nascent friendship brings her back in her excesses of alcohol and drug use until she finds herself at the center of a murder investigation. Although innocent, the progress of the investigation pushes her, out of paranoia, to hide. Feeling falsely threatened, Elsa tries to flee Morocco with Antar’s help, as the city police try to find her. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xb6tady
