The Watershed

Presented by Le Sunset (L-1017720-721-722) Formed in 2015, the band The Watershed is delighted to celebrate the release of their third album, The Space Around Things. The four musicians no longer need to be introduced.: pillars of the Parisian jazz scene, they have active careers both as leaders of their own formations and as sidemen alongside artists such as Gael Faye, Anne Paceo, Youn Sun Nah, Christophe Dal Sasso and Vincent Peirani. With an astonishing complicity, they make each concert a unique experience entirely improvised – although it can never be heard –, preferring to describe their approach as “spontaneous composition”. They have been performing at the Sunset for more than a decade, a place they consider their true musical home.
