Tonewall : Solo Thumette Léon

What rhythm does a sign produce ? What remains when meaning is detached from it ? Tonewall is a contemporary dance piece at the crossroads of French Sign Language (LSF) and pure movement.

Like sign-poetry, but danced. Thumette Léon, Jazz Barbé and Laura Frigato dissect the sign, releasing its visual and rhythmic richness. Precision, emotion, physical commitment. Your language at the center. Followed by an interactive Sufi dance chore-signed performance by Thumette.
