Verb

Presented by Le Sunset (L-1017720-721-722). VERB is a jazz ensemble born from a spark between three musicians during a jam session. The three musicians shared a unique moment and decided to meet regularly. Rehearsals multiplied and, following a residency, a repertoire made entirely of original compositions was established. The trio drew inspiration from the greats, from the Keith Jarrett trio to Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, and Chick Corea. Since the group's founding in 2022, they have performed in France, Belgium, and Switzerland across several festivals (ancient theater at Jazz à Vienne, Crest Jazz, Cosmojazz, Tournai Jazz, Jazz sur la plage…) and venues (Duc des Lombards in Paris, Maison de la Culture in Amiens…). VERB was the winner of the Rezzo Jazz à Vienne 2023 springboard and a finalist in the Concours National de Jazz de La Défense 2025.
